ocr: Amateur photographer Claude Lavoie was sitting on the. step of his house 13 kilometres south of Saskatoon in June 1990 when he saw a telltale funnel at the base of a thundercloud. He grabbed his camera, snapped a few pictures, then got his family into the pickup and started driving away from the twister I stopping every few minutes to take more pictures.
